I know nothing about it. Can someone enlighten me?
Where do I get the hardware to make it work?
How much will it cost to get it up and running?
Approximately how many songs does it hold?
If you've used it, are you happy with it?
Any answers would be quite helpful.
Thanks!

My Tungsten E came with everything I needed to use it as an MP3, except the additional memory and the headphones. I bought a 128mb sd card and with that, it stores about 2 albumns. All the necessary software was included. The headphones (or earbuds) are just standard and I already had them. It is easy to create playlists, delete an albumn (or just a song) and put another on, via the computer. The quality of the sound I find astoundingly good. You can play directly through the Tungsten E itself, without the headphones, but the built-in speaker is pretty small and tinny.

Really?
I have everything that I need?
I installed realplayer, but it doesn't seem like I can do much with it.
How do you get the songs onto the memory card?
Thanks for the help!

Yes, I certainly use realplayer. I guess to be honest my teenage son has been the one who has actually put them onto the palm for me :) but once there, I can create my own playlists! I will ask him to give you more details tomorrow, unless someone more technical than I answers first! You definitely need a memory card. I would assume that a 256mb would give you enough for 4 albumns, seeing my 128 fits 2.

Although I had the Real Player on my Win XP machine, when I attempted to install Real One, I was given a message that I did not have the right files. So, I had to download and install the latest Real One Player so that I could continue to install on my T|E.

hehe:D of cors it doesnt. the software on ur desktop computer is different from the palm OS. palm only reads .prc and .pdb files and u nid to have a different realone player for palm. if u purchased ur tungsten E it should come with an installation disk, inside you would find a realone player for ur palm OS... better yet, u should try to have MMplayer,.. im using it for the moment,..great sounds and has an equalizer, also makes ur volume go twice as loud as realone player. nice skin also.

Let me specify: When installing from the installation CD, I was essentially told to go and download RealOne onto the desktop so certain files could be obtained. Then, the installation continued.
I mentioned this as a possible source for the original problem that we are responding to.
