I would not mind hi res, I am sure Palm has the know how to do it. :D

Actually, Palm is using Sony support and technology to add hi res to OS5!

You can always wait for Palm to add some feature. They only took a year to release the m515, which added 16 megs of Ram and increased the backlighting from the m505.

Of course, you can always switch to a Sony Clie, and quickly add built in MP3 player, true MIDI sound out of a REAL speaker, jog wheel, Hi Res screen (even Hi Res+ on some devices), built in hi powered InfraRed with Remote Control software, etc. etc. (If you want, you can even get a built in digital camera!)

My guess is Palm will already have all of these features by, say, 2006?

I work for a Staples/Business Depot store up here in Canada (please hold all negative comments for our customer service people lol), and we probably won't see any new Palms until close to Christmas due to company marketing, even though they may be out in October or something. Darn it! I want a new one!

I mean, IF I had the cash I would probably get one of those sweet Sony Clie NR70V's (audio player, digicam, keyboard, etc) for $799 bucks CDN. Then again, maybe waiting to see what Palm comes out with next is the prudent thing to do.
