I have a Palm M100 and its pretty cool except that for some reason the unit doesn't reconize exactly where they stylus is placed on the screen. Sometimes if I go to hit the home button it actually brings up the drop down menu for the current screen. This makes it extemely difficult when trying to enter text using the on screen keyboard or graffiti. I am not sure if this is related to the M125 problem that has been discussed here or not. If anybody has ran into this and has a solution or idea I'd like to hear from you. I really like the M100 even though there are much more advanced units available, still a great tool and toy!

this is a very common problem with the m100 series. if recalibrating the digitizer doesn't help, you will probably need to get a new digitizer. look at ********hightech.com.

Why not try one of the Digitizer "fixes" such as DigiFix, AutoDigi2, and SureTAp. Try the demo and see if they address and resolve your problem. They can all be found on Palmgear.com.

Try to hard reset your m100 and test out the screen before hotsyncing it. If it works then it might be something on the handheld that's throwing off the digitizer (software, corrupted database, whatever).
If it still doesn't work after the hard reset then you *might* need to get it repaired. Try digitizer patches from palmgear.com first.
