I am using Iambic Reader on an M505...everything was going smoothly...then I installed Wordsmith. I have since deleted Wordsmith. But I find that I after installing an ebook, the reader does not "see" it and if I try to open it from the file list...I get the ERROR CAN NOT FIND ASSOCIATED APPLICATION.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling iambic reader, no luck.
I have tried installing DeepReader (alternate reader) no luck.

I can see the files are in the PDA but the readers do not recognize them and apparently the OS does not associate them with either reader.

I am stumped as to how to fix this problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

Gary

Gary,
WordSmith "associated" your ebook files with WordSmith's Creator ID. Removing WordSmith was a good first step.

At this point I would say you should do a soft reset. Simply push the reset tool into the reset hole on the back of your Palm. Don't hold any keys down.

If this fails, you will need to delete your ebook files, do a soft reset, and reinstall them with the reader you desire to use.

Sorry about all the work but you need to force the reassociation of the Files with your choosen reader.
