I tried to load the "outlook 2002" from the compaion disk but it won't work. Is there a way to download it on the internet with out paying a fee since all I want to do is sync calender, task and contacts ( and I basicly paid for it already). Any help would be great, thx

No, there is not, but there are patches and updates provided by MS that may fix whatever the problems you have;

my problem is the companion disk won't work, I ended up downloading the sync program from microsoft. is there an after market program to sync with the Pim data or do I have to buy outlook. Dell has not responded to any of my e-mails yet.

If you want to use other desktop PIM besides Outlook, you will also need to buy 3rd party software to allow it to sync with the pocketpc. For example, to sync with Outlook Express, you'll need SyncExpress
