Hi, I've broken my ipaq's 2215 screen and was wondering if it was possible to skip the "align screen" screen. I also have the same problem on a Cassiopeia E200.

I have no warranty, and do not want to pay a lot for repairs, if it is possible: please direct me towards a pda website with tips on how to solder the screen back on, or maybe with screens themselves.

Thank You!

Go to gethightech.com website and see if they have HP parts and directions for screen repairs. They are pretty good on Palm directions, but they do NOT get into anyone doing any soldering on a PDA!
Good luck.

Is the device still under warrenty? If so contact HP or your reseller for help replacing or repairing the unit.

Other repair facilities that may be able to help are...

http://www.ipaqrepair.com/
http://www.pdasmart.com/index.htm
http://www.pocketpctechs.com/

AFAIK, there is no way to bypass the initial alignment screen, etc...
