Very dissapointing as I have heard a lot about it. does anyone else have this problem? Pman 11-08-2002, 06:25 PM What Palm are you installing it on? little-man 11-08-2002, 06:43 PM a palm IIIc with OS 4.1 JohnKes 11-08-2002, 07:19 PM Are you using the version for Palm? It crashes my Prism, too :( How did you get it off of your IIIc? little-man 11-08-2002, 08:30 PM I didn't have any problem deleting it. I just dragged it to the delete icon in silverscreen. what do you mean palm version? how would I be able to install any other type of file? PDASROCK 11-08-2002, 11:37 PM Yishow is designed for clie handhelds. I don't believe there is a version for palms. Calvados 11-09-2002, 03:59 PM I looked on Palmgear.com and the follwing link is supposed to be for "YiShow Explorer" for Palm. I have not tried it, but from what I read, unless I missed something and that is possible, this version is for the Palm machine. Click on this link to "yishow explorer" for Palm (http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?sid=99290320021109124708&prodID=43890) Have a great day, Calvados PDASROCK 11-09-2002, 04:31 PM Ahh, yes. I forgot, there is a version for palms above and including the m505. No matter to me, next tuesday my brand new clie will be running this beautiful program... TheSpies 11-09-2002, 05:28 PM you were not trying to start it from within silverscreen were you? little-man 11-09-2002, 08:08 PM Actually, I was TheSpies 11-09-2002, 11:48 PM that would crash it. exit silverscreen then start it. little-man 11-10-2002, 12:34 PM just tried that, and it still crashes. Is it true that it only runs on palms above the m505? TheSpies 11-10-2002, 05:51 PM i just tried it on my old IIIc and it works just fine. make sure you are using this version: http://www.yibing.net/english/yishow-e50.htm#1 dont forget to install the lowres skin along with the main program. little-man 11-11-2002, 07:47 PM YAY!!!! it WORKS!!! it's even better than expected! THank you so much! little-man 11-14-2002, 02:52 PM changed my mind - silverscreen is better. YiShow has some good ideas, ,but a few major bugs to be worked out. It could use a good facelift, too. Thanks anyways. P.S. It works fine when I launch it from Silverscreen;) PDA Street
