I am thinking about getting the T665c, but I keep reading about the short battery life. I was wondering if it's really that bad, and if that should deter me from getting it. If anyone out there has one of these, I would really appreciate your advice!
*One review said if you use it full blast it lasts about 2 hours. Is that really bad, and how does that compare with other PDAs?
*If you use the MP3 player only, how long does it last, and does that suck a lot of power?
*I am thinking the most I'd ever use it in any given day is prob. 40 minutes w/ backlight on and maybe an hour of MP3 player usage. Would the battery last me that long?
Also, one last thing - any opinions on the discontinued N760C vs. T665C?
Thanks!

If you don't mind charging every day or two, you should be fine.
A long plane trip might be hard, esp. with long wait times at the airport. But you could find a newspaper or take a nap instead of PDA'ing.

If you are traveling you can either purchase the Battery Adapter for the so you can recharge your Clie anytime you need to, or the Car Battery Adapter to hook it up to your cigarette lighter of your car. Both are found here:

I have the T665c myself and I use it at most 1 hour a day normal applications and maybe 1 hour MP3 playing... sometimes simulatneously and I charge up everynight. When using the MP3 player only just use the HOLD button and you can have about 4 hours of MP3 play time.

I like the Battery Adapter, since it is so small and portable. You can carry it without batteries to save weight, then get batteries at the airport, etc. when you need them.

T665 is a great unit! Battery is OK and I have yet to run it down during extended use. Even if your battery gets low, t665 system automatically shuts it down so no DATA LOSS.

With the hold button ON:
Will I save more battery with the backlight off, or doesn't it matter if the basklight is on when the hold is on?

If you have the unit on and your backlight is off you will save more battery, but with the hold on it suspends the screen so in that instance I doubt it would matter if your backlight is on or off.

I'm also eyeing the T665C. Is this a wiser buy than SJ30 and the Palm Tungsten?
