OS 3.3 upgrade (PalmV)

I want to upgrade to OS 3.3, but I can`t find it anywhere. The only thing I have found is OS 4.1 for 29.95USD
That´s too much.

Who has got a Link for me?

Yes, it is very hard to find these days:

Worked great on my PalmPro (many years ago). Be sure to have plenty of battery power. It ate up 15% of my power when I did it. Bad things happen if you run out of power in the middle of the upgrade.

That page has statements saying it only works with Palm Vx, while the Install Guide:
http://www.palm.com/support/35upgrade/downloads/OSUpgrade.pdf
states that it works on any PalmOS 3.0 or above handheld.

My guess is that the Install Guide is correct. If so, losadios should go directly to 3.5 and save a lot of time and effort.

I had failed to pay attention to the "Palm V" as opposed to Vx. I do have a memory about this difference as it applies to the OS. Wish I could remember. I know that my Palm V is running 3.5.3 and I flashed it, then patched. But I think I went through each new OS as Palm offered them. It is now in the hands of one of our learning disabled kids at the High School. You know every Palm V/Vx I put into the program I explain the "Welcome" app to the student. But I never hear from them with a digitizer problem.

my Vx is running 4.1, I don't see any adventage except it takes a lot longer to reboot.

but if u want, do a google search, there's a thai website has a free patch will flash your palm to 4.1, can't understand the language, but the program works fine.

is there any advantages at all to flashing V with 4.1...
i was considering to do that to mine..

also..if i use 3.3..any suggestions on how i can use GPRS with it to browse??
