Joe, your best bet is to get Garmin's phone no and liase with them. It'll be in your iQue (unless deleted) as it is in the default address list created. Otherwise, look in Garmin's website and you'll find the UK number there. If possible, try and get an RMA# from them before sending. Also, send it in by recorded delivery and you can trace the date and time on the Royal Mail website. Very useful for proving they got, as they claimed (initially) they never got it, they had, but someone else signed for it and it was left lying unclaimed on someone elses desk.

Edit: Allow 5 weeks for RMA turnaround in the UK.

If you want your RMA to be resolved as quickly as possible, do not, repeat, do not mention my name. They will shaft you if you do!;)

I had to return my iQue yesterday due to a faulty antenna. Apparently they have stopped the RMA process and now aim to fix the problem in 1-2 weeks not 5-6 previously.

Now, unlike Bokkie, I'm a true believer and look forward to its speedy return :-)

I hope it works out vhs. It's not nice having to wait so long for it to get back to you.

Henry returned today, 2 weeks after sending it back. Complete new package including power adapter and cradle etc. Very impressed with the service now that Garmin seem to have recovered from a nasty backlog.

See Bokkie, have faith!

Well, I assume you didn't mention any reference whatsoever to Bokkie, did you?

There's something to learn. For speedy treatment, of any kind, don't mention the war - ehhh, Bokkie.
