Yes, you can, Activesync allows infrared syncing. And you need ir port on the desktop or laptop.

I have an ir port and everything and I line it up but it won't recognize the pocket pc. Does Activsync have a special download for the pocket pc's that go through the ir port?

Make sure you allow and choose ir port for syncing in Activesync. You should have latest version of it as well;

How do you allow and choose an ir port? Is that on the desktop or pocket pc?
