I have an iPAQ 4155 and use it to sync with Outlook.
Have the latest version of everything, plus I have an aftermarked PowerPoint viewer
When I set it up to download everything (to include attachments), many times when I plug it in to the cradle my iPAQ gets in a "fight" with my computer, and I end up with duplicate messages in my inbox. Each time I sync I get another copy of each message! What I did that seemed to help was to turn off the setting to download the attachments, which forces me to download each one manually and individually.
However, when I do download the attachments, they are there and open just fine. But the next time I synchronize, it downloads all of the attachments again. And sometimes the attachments download, but the next time I turn on the iPAQ the attachments are not downloaded! It doesn't make sense!
Of course I've tried the soft boot, and reintalled both Outlook and Activsync several times.
I tell it to download the attachments to my 128 Mbyte flash card, and the attachments aren't that large, so I doubt it's a memory problem.
Has anyone seen similar behavior or have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
