i have been in quest of programs that have pc and ppc
equavalent programs which can be sync
outlook has not been usable since i move from computer to compuiter and therefore require a licence for each computer
I have used rtf and txt files which are the same on both the ppc and pc
recently, i have found AnyNotes by taursoft http://www.anynotes.com/index.htm
it has pc and ppc programs and a sync program which means what i have on my ppc is what i have on my pc
password protected and i can download the pc program to any computer and then delete it when finished - my data is always on the ppc
or I can setup the pc program on a media reader -sd card to plug in to any computer
total commander is also a pc and ppc program
roboform is alos a pc and ppc program
Does anyone know of other programs which have sync related programs that run on the pc and ppc?

loaded pdf right away
i use lots of pdf
i do very little excel or word
i use notepad which saves in txt or rtf
for my use that is enough
I am evaluating anynotes now
i must set up some directories and sub-directories
for each of my subject areas and shortcuts to them
all of this is stored on my sd card which allows me to move from computer to computer as i travel without using activesync or a special program.
although when i am at guest computers most owners do not mind me installing activesync.
thanks again
