bluetooth troubles!

hello everybody!
I was wondering if somebody can help me out with a problem I have.
i have recently bought a TDK bluepaq bluetooth sleeve for my 3835. i am trying to connect to my pc using a 3com usb bluetooth adapter. No luck! The pc does not seem to connect to the ipaq.
Does anybody know about any conflicts or non-compatibilty between these two.

I can't really advise except to say I have a 3970 and a USB Bluetooth adaptor. I can get my PC to talk to the IPAQ, but not realiably using active sync 3.6. The prob seems to be with Active sync as the 2 devices will otherwise talk to each other no probs!

Have you made sure to bond the two devices?

yeah, I tried to bond\pair the pc and ipaq. They connect for about 30 sec., then they don't even see each other.
