Ipaq 2215 Rom Upgrade Failure

I attempted upgrading my ROM and ran into a connection failure. Now my device displays the HP logo and "USB" at the top. I cannot use the device, cannot connect to activesync, and cannot complete the upgrade. HP is telling me to "send in the device" to have it repaired. Any other advice??

Try this, take the ipaq off the cradle, turn the ipaq off (if you can), restart the desktop, put the ipaq back in thc cradle, turn the ipaq on, and restart ROM update again.
