GPRS and GSm for IPAQ

I need some help to set up my IPAQ (3765) for use as a phone and PDA both witht he GSM / GPRS packet. I have a SIM card in my TREO that i want to move between the two devices depending on which one i want to carry at that time.

Other than switching the CARD, how else do i get the IPAQ to work as a phone?

Have you used this on the T-Mobile system here in the US? Is it reliable?
