Should I upgrade 3650 OS?

I have a 3650 with Windows CE 3.0.9348 , processor is ARM SA1110 and 32mb memory, that I have been using for the last few years. I have never really been happy with the way it operates the logic seems a little wierd. Anyway I am wondering if it would be worth it for me to try upgrading to the 2002 OS? Does anyone know what the main differences are and what I will gain by upgrading the OS? I don't have the money to buy a new unit and the 3650 does most of what I need it to do which is sync with my Outlook for contact information and carry a few spreadsheets around with me.
I am considering upgrading from using Outlook as my contact manager to the new Act 2005 does anyone have any experience with either?

Other issue with unit is part of the screen does not align at the top center properly?

The main benefit of ppc2002 is that many of the softwares availble for pocketpc OS require at least ppc2002 and will not work with ppc2000. You may have trouble finding the upgrade cd, as far as i know the only place that still has them is ebay.

If you switch to ACT, you will need 3rd party software to make your pocketpc sync to it. Activesync will only work with Outlook.

The screen issue does sound like a digitizer(screen) failure, it is fairly common problem on older pocketpc. It's a hardware not software problem. There are a few places that can replace or sell the replacement kit.

Thanks for the info, I followed the link and found most newer applications will have an X or close box which drives me nuts not having. I have seen the upgrade disk on Ebay.

As for the third party software for Act, where do I find out about it? However I may not need to move to act if I can sort by company name instead of just contact name?

I am just starting to consider better database management between the desktop and the pocket PC and I am open to any suggestions.

The one with the biggest database wins!

As for the screen problem I will just continue to deal with it as I have been.

To have ability to close application with X, original Wisbar(1.2) still works with ppc2000.
