I took this screen capture, when I was on vacation last, it showed my track across the ocean.

I was able to drive from Bar Harbor out to Bar Island.

Anyone know how I did it? I'm sure those who are familiar with that area, will know right away.

Sorry one more, this was another fun trip. I drove my car to the top of Mt. Washington and took a screen shot there too.

Although interestingly enough my accuracy wasn't as good as it was when I was at sea level.

You spent time in Maine? We have a house up there, we spent the weekend up in Lebanon, and a week from next Friday we're leaving for nine days in northern/central Maine, don't know where exactly yet, have tent, will travel! We're ending up in Unity at the Common Ground Fair. I'll have great tracks to keep and review. I love it up there!

Hey Reinbeau!

Actually it was not a ferry ;)

Maine is great. We've stayed as far up as Machias, and then up in Millinocket by Baxter State Park.

This past trip, I was camping Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island.

Beautiful weather!!

Sandbar at low tide?

I live on Frye Island, Maine in Sebago Lake. It's been a lousy summer here, cool and rainy. The Fall isn't starting out much better. We'll be leaving for our new home in Florida by the end of October.

Hi Rich36,
You are right, I saw people driving over from the place I was having lunch at, and had to try it.

I used the iQue to find the road that I assumed would bring me to the beach area, and then drove over.

Very cool experience.

I think I was in Maine for the one week of good weather. Aug 20-28 -- Sunny and beautiful every day.
