City Select 6

Received my new 3600 yesterday, (difficult decision: 3200+auto mount+case+screen protectors+gilson was one CAN$ less than the 3600+auto kit) and am still trying to install and update all the software. City Select 5 installed correctly, I believe, but the V.6 installation routine keeps asking for City Select Disk 1. As that is the disk that I began the installation from, (and is still in the drive at that point), both the PC and I are a bit confused. Anybody have similar problems?

I also found the same thing. it asked for disk 2, I put it in and it asked for disk 1, I put it in and it immediately asked for disk 2 again. I put in disk 2 and installation continued. I have since put each CD in a different drive and it doesn't stop and ask at all. Hope this helps.

I had to put the cd's in, wait until the drive recognized them, then click on ok. It went form cd 1 to cd2 and back to cd1.

I did the samething Johnva did andwent ok. I guess it is the Garmin thingy so be patience

It was a while ago, but I also remember shuffling the CDs more than seemed logically.
