Every time I try to connect my iPaq 3835 to my home PC, the PC freezes. Not even CTL+ALT+DEL will do anything!

I can sync with no problems to my computer at work.

My computer at home runs Windows 2000, SP4.
I also use Office XP with Microsoft Outlook 2002.

I have run Detect and Repair on Outlook.
I have updated the version of Avant Go I use.
I have updated the version of Active Sync to 3.7.1.
None of these have solved the problem.

I have run out of ideas...

Is your USB port on your motherboard or on seperate PCI card? You may want to verify you do not have any IRQ conflicts.

Also if your motherboard is using VIA or nFORCE chipsets verify you are using the latest drivers. I know there have been USB related issues in the pasth with either of these chipsets.

I appreciate the suggestions.

I updated the drivers on the USB (it's not integrated). There weren't any conflicts. Tried syncing again but still no luck!
Any other ideas out there??
