I know I'm an idiot and that this is probably a piece of cake but I am in desparate need of help. I own an Ipaq 3835 and a C331 Motorola cellular phone together with the cable connecting the same. I am using bellsouth as my ISP and have tried everything I can think of but cannot get on the internet using the phone as modem. The things i know are as follows
1. I have subsribed to the internet option with my cell phone carrier
2. I have the DNS from bellsouth.
3. I have a login name and password
4. I have the dial up number.
My problem is that the Ipaq gives me a message saying that either the User-name or password is wrong. The phone hangs up after 18-19 seconds. I have tried turning off everything and reconnecting but know deep down that one or all the settings I have "adjusted" in the Ipaq are wrong.
I would appreciate it if some one could give me some help or point me in the right direction.
