Casio PA 2400U

I really like my 2400U, but there is one problem I have. It doesn't have an earphone jack or microphone jack. The microphone jack is not so important, but if it had an earphone jack, I could use it as an MP3 player and ditch my CD player. Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up an earphone to this PDA? There is a jack on the machine but the documentation taht came with it says that it is for some "special" purpose. The machine has a RS232 port. It would seem that it is possible to get sound from this port. Any ideas?

I have an ibm pcmcia soundcard. Is it possible to get this to work in the 2400u? Will it hurt anything if I just plug it into the 2400U?
