It allows you to type AND mouse on the pc to enter information directly into the palm. The only problem I had with the product was at that time the file was named keyboard.prc, which caused a conflict with another keyboard application with the same name. The website for more information is http://www.mochasoft.dk/ pdagranny OldBlue 11-10-2002, 03:01 PM Here's a link to a page describing how to input from your PC keyboard directly to your Palm. The information is almost 3 years old, so I'm not sure if the program will work on the newer Palms, but it's free and it's worth a try. http://www.geocities.com/daveinfopage/palmpilot_keyz.html OldBlue Irv 11-10-2002, 06:53 PM Thanks OLD: I like the free stuff but this one looks like it needs a COM port and the 515 connection is through USB :( PDASROCK 11-10-2002, 09:27 PM Heh, great fun, got it working, a shame I can't get it with usb... Irv 11-10-2002, 09:52 PM Rock: Was that a 515 and if so how did U do it? PDASROCK 11-10-2002, 11:09 PM No such luck. It was a IIIc I got it working with, not usb. I will try it with my nr70v, but expect nothing. The settings in hyperterminal setup didn't have usb listed, I don't know why not. Old program? I'll keep you posted... cheers OldBlue 11-11-2002, 02:08 PM There are on the market USB to RS-232 serial adapters. I'm not sure if they would work in this instance, and the cost may be prohibitive, but it would provide a work-around. OldBlue PDASROCK 11-11-2002, 02:27 PM I think that would work, as long as you hooked it up to com1, it really wouldn't be able to tell the difference, right? Cheers Irv 11-11-2002, 02:29 PM Blue: Like this one? http://www.pdastreet.com/forums//showthread.php?threadid=4909&goto=newpost Irv 11-11-2002, 02:31 PM Whoops sorry: http://www.deluo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=DE&Product_Code=USB2S&Category_Code=USBC PDASROCK 11-11-2002, 02:34 PM Looks like great fun, but the price bites it, and every time you wanted to sync fast, you'd have to switch back to usb, would be a pain. Cheers Irv 11-11-2002, 02:36 PM ROCK: I agree think I will go back to my spray can & improve my GRAFITTI :D OldBlue 11-11-2002, 02:45 PM $18 just so I can type to my Palm using my PC keyboard?!!! ... Then, again, the folding Palm keyboards run from $60 to $100. ... I could always un-retire my PalmPilot Pro so I could go serial. ... I think I'll follow Irv's lead, grab a spray can (for $1.29), and work on my Grafitti. OldBlue PDASROCK 11-11-2002, 03:49 PM Yeah, I think bright orange graffiti......:D PDA Street
