I have heard that processing speed can be greatly increased by disabling Windows screen animations, and it can be done by adding a line to the system registry. Can anybody send me a step-by-step narrative on how to do this??? Thanks....

I know what it is in the CE 2.11, not to mention that SmallTweak (freeware) can make it a checkbox option, but the MP790 is running HPC2000, right? That will probably be a little different than the CE 2.11 devices when it comes to registries. I'm not even sure if SmallTweak will work on HPC2000.

I never heard of SmallTweak until somebody else suggested it yesterday. I downloaded it last night, and I will let you know if it works on my 790 / HPC 2000.
