Well hello there!!

I am totally new to this whole pda thing and could use a little direction... If someone who remembers what this feels like, please lend a little of your knowledge... here's what my intentions are:

Just got my hands on an Ipaq 3835 and know only the xtreme basics (never used one before)

Barely loaded activesync.

I see things like "2.4Ghz Bluetooth USB Dongle Adapter Wireless"
& "Bluetooth Wireless CF Compact Flash Card New" and think I may be going in the right direction but would like to know with what prod. I'll just be wasting $$ and which will be the best purchase.

I don't need a full hand hold down this hiway... just a nice kickstart and I believe I might be at the right forum. If not, someone just show me where to get started.

I already have a laptop as well as a desktop (not hooked up since purchase of laptop) and I access the net generally by LAN but need to know the best options I have to the fastest and best wireless access I can get without killing my finances.

Let me know.... anyone? anyone? HEEEELP!

What type of access speed are we looking for and do any of your other computers have Bluetooth or Ir (I'm assuming the laptop has Ir)?

I to just bought a 3835, in my house I have a Linksys WAP. So I choose the Linksys WCF12 CF card for the Ipaq and also a expansion pack. It works great with no problems.

How fast can I get? Can I go as fast as the dsl that links up to my laptop? Has IR, but isn't there a way to NOT have to be linked up to another computing device? Like those cell phones at T-Mobile with a pda built in?

I was hoping for that more than anything but, I guess if all there is is PAN, I will just have to settle or sell it for something with more range.
