This is my dilema: used my Ipaq on my work computer for quite some time with no problems, and synced it up everyday with e-mail and calendar. I decided to start using it on my home computer as well and sync my work events up on my home outlook. I installed the Actice Sync software and it detected the device in the cradle but it said that there were two trusts already and one had to be removed. Upon looking at both trusts they seemed to be identical so I removed one. Upon doing that I tried to sync it up by going through the options on what I wanted to synced up. First off it said that my calendar otpion was installed. I had to reboot to finish the install process..tried to sync and it failed to locate the device via USB or serial.
I changed it to every port on the computer and even uninstalled and reinstalled Active Sync..with no luck.
The second part of this problem is that I took it back to work and it wanted me to create a new trust...and I thought it was normal the first time after the changes but now it is wanting me to do this everyday now.
I am out of the warranty period so the support group at Compaq can only tell me to do a soft or hard reset.
Needless to say I am frustrated because this is normally an easy task but it has become crazy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
