i use many applications on my TT being e-mails like Eudora and VersaMail, InBoxToGo, .

I use the Global find always, and it has been very successful.

to stop the find searching i have used IgnoreFind But this does not work with OS5

so i have tried Telmaster with ignore hack and it seems to ignore and locate the entry BUT when you select it fatal errors.

so i need to find one that will work with OS5

hope you can HELP pls

I'm not familiar with Global Find, which I understand is a hack. I use Palm's native Find on my TT and it searches throughout my emails (VersaMail), files, address records, etc., etc. It's been working well for me, doesn't crash, and stops when I tap the "Stop" button. Maybe Palm's Find will work for you, too?

I used X-Master for 2 hacks on my m505. One was Afterburner, which I no longer need. The other was Pop-Up Calculator, which I miss a lot. I have not yet made the time to try it on the TT.

Palm's Find works pretty quickly on my TT, although I am using only VersaMail. I use Eudora 5.0 (I know ... 5.2 has been out for a while, but I have not upgraded) as my email client on my PC, but did not install Eudora email on my Tungsten.

I am not aware of any way to make Palm's Find search only selected applications' data files.

Palm's Find works with the active app first, then goes thru RAM. If you know which app had the data you want, open it before using Find.

I don't know what order Find uses to go thru RAM. Seems random to me. It is non-alphabetical but consistent.
