I just violated Delete Rule #1, ''Coffee'' first.

I blame it on Bill (Gates), of course. Long story. Short version: Laptop, WinSP updates, backup hd, using floppies... that's taking forever so I'm on ppc accessing hotmail.

I can't use hotmail on ppc except thru this url,
http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/

(and thank you to AnswerDude for that info, I used search to find a workaround for Bill's "your ppc is not config'd to accept cookies" spiel)

and I saved the url in my ie favorites folder and then thought I wanted to call it "Hotmail MSN Mobile " not just "MSN Mobile " so I went back & deleted --permanently-- "MSN Mobile " ...the one w/ the butterfly.

ooops.

Obviously I wasn't using it so no real loss. But the butterfly was pretty. ;)

so what was that ''MSN mobile '' file/folder I just deleted? IOW, "What's this thingie do?"

mahalo!

Just a guess here but could it be a folder containing bookmark of Pocket PC optimized sites provided by MSFT?

I installed it, but I have no wifi at work so can't connect to tell what that thingie does, but it looks interesting!

Can someone with wifi open their ie,
tap on the star, mobile favorites,
and tell me what the MSN butterfly "MSN Mobile" does/has in there?!

Nobody here at work has wifi...
mahalo!
