Media Player 9

I am running a HP 1910 CE 3.0 windows ipaq and want to know can I upgrade to Windows Media Player 9 ? I also don't know if my system is Wondows 2002 ...how can I tell? Can I do an upgrade from Windows for it?

Ipaq 1910 runs Pocketpc 2002 OS. You cannot upgrade its operating system. The only WMP that works is the one included on the CD that come with the unit. There are however many alteranatives to WMP many are free and better, see this thread for more information;

Thanks for the help. It is just that some sites only play video on WMP 9. I also wondered if it is possible to find a programme for ipaq that decodes YEnc files ? Thanks for help
