Very sad. I didn't realize my charger was bad. It overheated my m130 and now it's dead. Nothing. Nada. If it over heated it (felt hot to the touch), is it probably my motherboard? Is there a chance I could just replace that and get my baby back?
I feel very pathetic to be so distraught by this, but it's got my life on it. Only the Red Sox making the playoffs is keeping me from wigging out.

You used the original charger - 5V, 1Amp?
If it was only putting out 5V, the battery might be the only thing wrong. If it put out more than that, you might as well buy something new. Do you have a voltmeter/multimeter to check?

Hmmm. I don't think I have one. Can I get one at Radio Shack?
Went out & bought a Tungsten E this a.m., but would like to revive my old buddy if I can.

The digital multimeters for $19.99 look good:

or you could take the Palm adapter with you and have them check voltage for free.
