BC 307 on Mbook or S7

Hi,

I am trying to get a BC307 to work on my Mbook or S7 but can't get comm 1 to open. All I get is unknown error with either machine. The led on the BC307 comes on for a while but then goes off.
I tried to connect with Comms but the pc card port wouldn't open.
Also the card seems to go in upside down ie the raised portion is down so the Mbook sits on it.
The Mbook works fine with the WiFi Buffalo card or with a CF in the pcmcia adapter.
Any advice gratefully received.

It seems that I have put it in upside down!! Surprisingly it fits better that way ie slides in more positively. The led coming on had also mislead me. It is fine now in both Mbook and S7.
