I just bought a new Tungsten E. I hav had it about 2 weeks now. It is working just fine. However, there some things I don't understand about it yet.
I tried to download some text files from the internet. But I don't know how to view it. I assume that I need some softwear to link it to. How do I find out what I need to do?

Yes, you need specific programs to view various test file types on a Palm. The easiest thing to do with a small text file is to copy the text to a Palm Memo and read the text there.
For larger text files, there's usually an e-book reader that's needed to view the files. Most files hava a readme attached that will tell you what program you need. For a good general text and e-book reader, you can try TiBR or CSpotRun, both of which are available at www.freewarepalm.com.

Thanks Jim for the quick reply.
One more problem I have is how to get to the text file to copy it. When I open APP abd Info I can see the file, but I Don't know where it is other that that. And as far as I know I can't do anything with it from there.
I have documents to go, and Palmreader, and MobileDB Lite.
Thanks aagain for the help.:)

Sorry but you lost me on that one. What is the exact name of the application and a link, if possible. I might be able to give you a better guess with that information.

Hi Jim,
I think I am starting to get it. I have been looking at the download info and am finding the software I need to open the various documents. I don't want to load my palm with different readers so I am only downloading the ones that I have a reader for.
Again thanks for your help. It was able to point me in the right direction.
