Q What is the PC Mail function used for?

There's no reference in "help"/"e-mail help". I assumed it allowed you to write an e-mail which would then get transferred to your PC e-mail outbox (e.g. Outlook) when you synchronise - I tried this but it stayed in the 5mx "out box".

You are correct in you assumption, however, the e-mail will only syncronise when you run the Psion Syncroniser which you will need to set up to syncronise with your Outlook. It is advisabel to have e-mail syncronisation version 1.1 installed on both the PC and the Psion for this to work. If you are using Outlook 2000, then you will need PsiWin 2.3.3 aswell.

I have version 2.3.3 and have selected e-mail sync. - I will have another look and see if I can get it to work.
