Just curious... what is the difference between an SD card and a MMC card? Benefits/disadvantages of both??
I believe I have an SD card, I wasn't even aware there were such things as an MMC card?!

Sunshine,
I am not sure of all of the differences, but what I have read is the following:
1. The SD card has a small plastic slide lock that allows you to write protect it, the MMC does not.
2. The Sd card is supposed to be a little faster in the reading & writing department, but I wonder if we could even really see the difference.
3. The SD card is in theory a little thicker than the MMC & therefore supposed to be a little more sturdy.
4. I also read that the SD card is a little more reliable as far as the number of times that you can write to it.
If there are some other differences, I have not heard of them. I do appreciate the safety feature of the protection lock on the SD as I use it to make sure certain things do not get erased.
Hope that this helps & have a good day,
Calvados
