E-mail Synch

I have an MC218, but I have some problems in getting the software e-mail synchronization 1.0 because the link for download in the cd is out.
So do you have any suggestion where I coul downolad this sw?
Or anyone could send it to me?

The version available on the Psion site will work on the MC218. Just follow the links on www.psion.com for downloads for the 5mx and hopefully you will find it there - the current version is 1.1.

I think the two files that refer to 'synchronisation' available in the myPsion downloads section are updates only rather than the complete Email Synchronisation package.

AFAIK, what you'll need to do is get hold of Psiwin 2.3.3 (which has the sync software built-in), then uninstall EPOCConnect, clean the registry, then install Psiwin 2.3.3 (there are instructions for doing this in my FAQ). During installation, it will ask you to connect your machine up, because email sync needs some installation on the MC218 as well as on the PC.

Once you've done all this, go and get and install the two updates Beakynet mentions.

Unfortunately the software in the site psion.com is only an upgrade and need to have already installed the emali synch 1.0.
So you need to have this software.

Choose MC218 from the list (you'll get the list bij typing MC218 and then deleting it) and than go to software > synchronisation.
