I am about to go travelling for 2 months (mainly in Australia) & was thinking of taking my iPAQ. I currently use GPRS dial up on Orange (via Bluetooth) to access the internet.
Will I have to do any changes to settings (on my phone or iPAQ) if I want to access the internet while abroad?

I do not have GPRS,but a friend with an i-Mate tells me that the service is good in the capital cities but reasonably pricey.
Here is a link to coverage to cellular networks:

Similarly, there are fewer commercial hotspots than in the US and Europe. However, there are a reasonable number of internet cafes in most cities, and just most libraries would have internet access.

I don't know about Orange, but I have used Vodafone GPRS in Oz with no problems. They also have a very good sprinkling of WiFi Hotspots all over the place.

Don't you have to change your access point and dialled number and things though?
I'm going to the US soon, and would love to be able to use GPRS while over there... but I don't think I can easily :(

Check on the web if Orange has a roaming partner to where ever you are going to.
That might lower the costs.
I use O2 in most of Europe with a flatrate.
Have a nice trip.
