Hi,
I have been searching around but unable to find the answers to what I am sure are a couple of very simple questions.
My apologies if it has been asked before or is so obvious that I've missed it but, being:
a) A newcomer to the wonderful world of Ique ownership
and
b) a bear of very little brain:
How do you load a database so that birdwatch reads it ?
or more specifically how do you load a speed camera database?
Also any pointers to the best places to obtain the data for the UK in the first place would be gratefully received.
Many thanks in advance.
SL

So are you going to just keep starting new threads with the same message every 45 minutes or so until you get an answer???

Sorry I don't have the answer to your questions -- maybe someone else can jump in and keep the thread count down.

My apologies!
It happened in error.
I used the back button on explorer and hey presto!
Sorry it won't happen again.
If the moderators are seeing this please feel free to delete this thread.
My apologies once again.

The only way I know of loading speed camera's is into your address book, but man o man does it slow down your refresh rate or what!!
Its almost impossible to use it like that so like you I'm hoping to hear of a better way and one that doesnt slow the redraw of the maps down to a standstill.....

Definitely having a bad day :( . Didn't mean to come off as harsh as it sounded. Let me start over...

Hi, summerlightning, and welcome to the forum! I think you'll enjoy your time here -- most people are nicer than I came off this morning, (even me) :) I hope you get the answers you need.

SummerLightning,

welcome to our world, and greetings from another iQue user stuck in the south east of the UK (Creepy Crawley by the way). It's a shame you just bought an iQue 3600 considering the 3800 (personal) and 4000 (business) models are due out next month in time for Xmas hopefully.

We are waiting for Anders in Sweden to give us some feedback about them as he's been testing them for the past 2 months I recall. Anders?

Really???? wow, I didn't know that. I bought my IQue last week. Do you know where I can see more information about those new models?

I know Ann. I was just having a bit of fun with the newbie! Sort of like the apple-pie beds we used to make as kids when someone new joined the school.:D

You had me going for a bit there!
I always feel that once people feel that they can take the mickey out of you then you have truely arrived.
If that is the case then I feel truely welcomed already :)

PS
I'll get my own back!
Maybe not today
