iPaq 3600 USB/Charge/Sync cable compability with hx4705

Does anyone know if the original iPaq 3600 series USB/Charge/Sync cable is compatible with hx4705? The connector looks like it's compatible.

The HP site lists the FA130 AC power adaptor/charger as the one for both the 4700 and the 3600. (iPAQ h1700, h1900, h2200, h3000, h3600, h3700, h3800, h3900, h4100, h4300, h4700, h5400, h5500, and 6300 series)

I would assume that the connector is the same, then...

But the Part number FA122A, which is the synch cable is NOT listed as a part for the 3600 series... Only for the iPAQ 1700, 1900, 2200, 3000, 3800, 3900, 4100, 4300, 4700, 5400 and 5500.

No, they are not compatible, the 3100, 3600 and 3700 have the same usb connection but not the same as the other models. Ipaq changed the usb connection since 3800 series.
