Whats best program to read PDB files? [Archive]

I've managed to download some books and technical manuals in PDB format. Some read in Aportisdoc and Tealdoc, but many don't.

Is there any reason why this is, or which program should I use to read the files?

I'd just like to add that the books I refer to are non-commercial short stories and freeware / shareware technical and information documents for the Palm.
