I've been getting problems when trying to sync my 2210. just now it took 2 or 3 minutes of checking before it finally gave the error in this pick -

The more common error I get (when trying to sync my pocket PC documents) is that it can't write to a certain part of the memory. Is my iPaq knackered or is it just an Active Sync problem?

Any help is appreciated :)

I think it's possibly a problem with Active Sync convering one of the .doc files I use. I was getting 'Don't have enough memory to convert a file' errors, so I adjusted the balance of memory, it still gave some error about not being able to convert and if I manually drag and drop the file into the iPaq docs folder, it converts the doc but all the text is squashed into about 10 pixels wide, making it a very long and hard document to read

I've just got a different error, which I think was the first type of error I ever got which is this -

Is it possible to re-install active sync on my PDA? I wonder if that might help?

If you are already using latest version of activesync, i don't think reinstalling will help. But you can try. You can also try saving the file as .RTF or .TXT on the desktop so activesync needs not to convert it. RTF file will let you keep some of formatting. If you use a lot lof Word .doc files, you may want to consider Textmaker a 3rd party Word processor for pocketpc that can read .doc files without conversion.

Strangly enough, re-installing Active Sync on my desktop PC seems to have fixed it...
