Cannot sync Outlook recurring messages

New User here-just acquired the PalmIIIxe with cradle and Palm OS4.0. Loaded fine. Hit the sync button with settings for PC to write palm. All contacts synced, but Calendar would not sync the messages that were recurring. One time Calendar events sync fine.....anything I'm missing here?

Are you saying that the recurring events you have set in Outlook on the PC are not transfered to the Palm during the Hotsync....did I understand you to say that?
Are you using the Palm DateBk or an upgrade such as DatBk3 or DateBk4 that supports recurring apts?

I simply autoloaded the Palm OS 4 disk. How do I check the version?

THe version of the Palm Desk top is not the question. The Questions are: 1) are you trying to see on your Palm, recurring appointment that you set on the Palm Desktop?
2) Do you use OutLook on your PC?
3). Do you use a third party application for your DateBook on the Palm or the Palm Standard DateBook?

I'm strictly using Outlook through an exchange server.

The Palm DateBook does not provide for the establishment of recurring....repeating events. Other third party replacements for the datebook such DateBk3, DateBk4 and DateBk 5 offer this feature. Check them out at Palmgear.com.
Even though the Palm basic calendar/DateBk app does not allow you to create this events I am surprised that it does not list them.
It has been years since I used the Palm DateBook. Once you have seen what DateBk4 can do you will not want to go without it!
