Hi there

I am new to all this Ipaq business. I have an Ipaq 3760 with Tom Tom 3 on it. I generally just use it for Nav and contacts etc.

I am wanting to put Tom Tom traffic on to it but am unsure how to go about it. When I look on Tom Tom's website it says that I must have a GPRS connection but what does this mean.

Any advise is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Shane

I believe it means that the IPAQ must also be able to connect to the traffic server whilst you are driving via your mobile phone. Your phone and network must be GPRS capable and the phone will probably also have to bluetooth (maybe it can also use infrared, but I'm not sure). When it makes a successful connection the IPAQ then downloads the latest traffic situation (roadworks, jams, accidents etc.) and is then able to recalculate your route to avoid these.
