My above device has been working fine but I disconnected it when troubleshooting a problem with my digital camera's USB connection. Since reconnecting it, ActiveSync has not been able to identify it. It knows it's there, but I get the "cannot recognize this device" message. I've installed the latest edition of ActiveSync with the same results.

Any suggestions?

Try remove the ipaq from the cradle, soft reset it, restart the desktop and try syncing it again.
