how to convert WMA to ringtones

I'm having the hardest time searching for a software program that will allow me to use my saved songs for my ringtones.....i need help before i break this f@$king phone. (ipaq 6315)

Is the ringtone format .WAV file? You can use dBpowerAMP Music Converter to convert wma to wav (not sure if it will work with wma that has DRM).

I couldn't use it to add any sounds in the alarm clock. Any ideas?
