When I got my new computer (running Windows XP) and downloaded the lasted Palm Desktop (4.1.4) I had problems syncing. Everything synced except my Address Book. Based on info from these forums, I downloaded an older version of Palm Desktop (4.0.1) to use.

Well, now all of my basic Palm apps sync fine (date book, address book, to do, etc). But it is not syncing any of the other software I have. I have Illium ListPro and eWallet on my Palm and desktop. When I open up the desktop version of this software and go to the sync menu it says that no Mobile Device Software is found.

I'm not sure what to try next. Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

When you changed desktops, you also rewrote the registry entries of these third party programs. Installing the earlier desktop didn't fix these registry entries because Desktop 4.0.1 was writtten before the new registry scheme of Desktop 4.1.4. You should be able to fix the problem by uninstalling the third party programs and then reinstalling. This should rewrite the registry entries so the older version of the desktop is recognized and the correct conduits are installed.

Thanks for your help. After I reloaded my other software, it works fine! :)
