Hi All,
Has anyone put together a list or site that shows Tungsten compatible software?
I am having a bit of a problem finding new or replacement software, as a lot of sites don't indicate if the software works on OS5 or not.
To get the ball rolling here is what I have found so far...
HourzPro/ReportzPro - Work OK
ExpenzPro - Crash
GPS software - all crash
Launch 'em 3.5 - works fine, but doesn't support new scroll hardware
AvantGo - doesn't work on mine, but works on a friends who had it working on his 515 prior to upgrading and sync'ing over to a Tungsten. YMMV.
cheers,
Steve

No man! Still did not find a site that gives us the happy list of new PalmOS5 applications. I had to uninstall lots of my easy to work softwares once they weren't compatible. What about building a site to do so? This TUNGSTEN series seems to be a good step from PALM (not considering a few features that could be implemented in it), but it depends on us to make it happen....
Let's go for it. I'm starting to separete some SW that are working nice in the TT, are you? Let's exchange .zip ?

Hi,
I'm finding that software is being updated to support the Tungsten and OS5 in general.
TealDoc, BugMe, UltraSoft Money, DayNotez and Klondike have all been updated in the last few days to support the Tungsten.
I'd recommend watching for updates for a while before deleting old favorite programs.
Try doing a search here and on palmgear for "Tungsten" and "OS5" to get a list of all the compatible software.

Ok people, here is the official site to check for Tungsten T compatibility. I hope this helps.

The official site is good, but it does not list every "major" Application that you might think is essential. It would be better if you just go to the vendors website and do some snooping. Most have documentation in the FAQs that say if it works on OS5 or if they plan to support OS5. :p
This site may help.

As for GPS software, Mapopolis has a version for OS 5.0. I don't know if that means it will work with the m5xx's gps hardware solutions or not (in fact, I'm wanting to know that before I upgrade), but the mapping program itself does.....
