Sync Problem w new 3600

When I try to add any programs to my Ique, I get a sync error. It goes thru all the xxx.vpm files and hangs up at # 0053... its stays there for a while, then disconnects and gives me the error that the connection between the handheld and desktop has been broken,,, all files may not have been backed up. Tech support told me to go into the Palm\user\install folder and delete everything. That works, until I try to install anything new... then the same error occurs. Any Ideas?

Pull the SD card and try and sync without the card. Don't load any maps onto the SD card until you've sync'd successfully.

Also, reset the device before proceeding either way.

I just ran into the same problem synching a new 3600. I had the 3600 dock connected to a hub connected to a USB 1.0 port. I connected the dock directly to a USB 2.0 port and it synched fine.

Garmin specifically states that it will not work through a hub.
