Ok I am so sad b/c I use my IPAQ so often.
My battery is not working right,,
Here's the scenario--
My IPAQ kept dying on me and would no t charge fully. I monitored how the battery was charging and got it too charge to 100% yipee. No green light cam on to indicate completion BUT the orange light was flashing.
Took it to work today. Died after a few hours, did not even use it. Battery was at 0%. It is charging now

Talked to HP said it may be a short. New battery will cost 141 from them. Help I want to save my IPAQ but can't afford what they are asking!!

any similar experiences.

Also what is the avg life of an ipag 3830. SHould I have expected this?
I Hope someone can help or offer insight!

It does sound like dead battery. You can get battery replacement for $60;
