I was wondering if it'd be possible to use a Serial -> USB converter to connect my E115's cradle to a USB port. I'm just curious if that would do anything to speed up data transfer. ^_o

You will not get any speed benefit whatsoever. This would simply be a work around for some of the newer PCs which have no serial ports. anonone 11-19-2002, 04:54 PM Ah. *shrug* Eh, well. I guess I should've figured there'd be no speed boost, and I realized I'd need a Serial->USB converter for the PC -- in retrospect, I could've worded that question better. ^_o Guess I'll just stick to the CF card + USB reader for quick data transfer.
