I just posted about my frustrations and concerns about activesync and it got me wondering about alternatives?

Are there any alternatives to activesync that give you more control over how it's configured at runtime?

If you want to "sync" between Windows desktop and Windows mobile, you need Activesync. There are 3rd party software such as Intellisync

that work with activesync and add features to it.

There are a couple of "replacements" for activesync, if you want to sync between Mac os and Windows Mobile.
